Try the demo: Īfter owning all these for a while I can say I use Microtonic and DM307 the most (probably because there are more sounds in them so I gravitate toward them first) but the other two are very good for the sounds they provide when needed (which for me is only occasionally). Lastly there's Drum Spilliage, underrated but very unique sounds too. Īnd then there is Microtonic, in the same vein as Konkrete but so many unique sounds in it 's own engine (a drum synth, not samples) and an online program of community presets- Patternarium- that are endless. Konkrete has some cool glitchy sounds, if you like the sounds in the walkthroughs you will probably like the instrument, just catch it at one of their half price sales. So my suggestion is to watch the walkthrough videos to see if the sounds are useful to you and try the two demo versions for compatibility with your workflow. All four work well and have good controls/layout (with my first two choices having a little more control than the other two). Try the demo: Īfter owning all these for a while I can say I use Microtonic and DM307 the most (but now revisiting Konkrete today I realized I should be looking through it more- a wide range of kits, though all processed). Then there is Microtonic, in the same vein as Konkrete but so many unique sounds in it 's own engine (a drum synth, not samples) and an online program of community presets- Patternarium- that are endless. Heavyocity DM307 has some similar sounds yet so much more, real drums, electronic drums, sfx drums. If you like the sounds in the walkthroughs you will probably like the instrument, just catch it at one of their half price sales. Konkrete has some cool glitchy sounds, but also a wide range of kits too.
